My app currently generates about $100 per month and attracts roughly 100 new organic users daily.

I’m considering the best course of action. Should I reinvest the earnings into paid advertising to accelerate growth, or focus on organic growth while investing in user retention, product enhancements, and conversion strategies?

I’m inclined to improve the product first, but I’m interested in others' experiences. Has anyone here gone through a similar stage with an app and found that one approach was significantly more effective?

I would likely prioritize retention initially. If you’re already attracting 100 organic users daily without any expenditure, that’s a strong indicator. Paid ads can boost successful strategies, but they can also amplify issues in a funnel.

Before investing in ads, determine your LTV and CAC. Even a modest ad budget can provide valuable insights, but it's essential to understand how much you're willing to pay for each user. Without this knowledge, you’re essentially purchasing revenue without confirming if the numbers add up.

Instead of investing the full $100 in ads, I’d allocate $20–30 for testing and use the remaining funds to enhance onboarding, retention, or address user feedback. Your organic growth is already handling the difficult part.

Honestly, I find 100 organic users per day more valuable than earning $100 monthly. I’d investigate the sources of these users and what motivates them to convert. If you can boost the conversion rate to paying users, you could achieve greater growth without additional spending.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. This feedback was exactly what I needed. The main lesson for me is to avoid rushing into paid ads just because there’s some revenue. Fixing retention and optimizing the funnel before scaling acquisition makes a lot of sense. I’m also going to analyze LTV, CAC, organic user sources, and how many of those 100 daily users stay engaged and convert. I like the idea of testing a small amount of paid traffic instead of investing the full $100 in ads, as it provides valuable data with minimal risk. I appreciate everyone sharing their insights. My focus will be on improving the product and increasing conversions first, then experimenting with ads once I better understand the metrics.

Glad I could assist! I hope these suggestions provide you with a clearer path forward. Wishing you the best with the app, and please keep us updated on your experiments.
